The classic period of musical theatre, the 1940s and ‘50s, boasts some of the most memorable performances in American history. Students will create their own vignettes featuring dramatic songs and monologues from classic musicals, including Show Boat, Oklahoma! , Carousel, South Pacific, The King and I, My Fair Lady, and Cinderella. Songs include “You’ll Never Walk Alone”, “Ol’ Man River”, “I’m an Ordinary Man”, and “Oh What a Beautiful Morning”.
